This can be one of the hardest decisions
to make – colour and stripes, layouts and
designs. We have some basic decals for you to try
out – with a basic colour pallet to use. But
do remember when it comes to colours there are so
many varieties and if you visit the factory we can
show you samples to choose from. What we cannot
show you on our decals are the different effects
that can be done. All the decals are vinyl and the
vinyl can be airbrushed to give you different effects.
For example if you would like your stripe to move
through a colour spectrum to another.
As Above – this is achieved by airbrushing.
The same effect can be achieved on all decals. The
other options are to have your decals airbrushed
around the edges – this can give a three dimensional
effect as seen below. Also note that to enhance
this effect there is a total outline around the
decal. |

| When looking at the
striping and or wording on the aircraft the above
airbrushing and outlines can look really good. |

The other option with regards to
out lines is to go for a drop shadow in colours
that you are using. Do remember to have your registration
in a dark colour to ensure it stands out.
Do think about the over all balance when choosing
your colour scheme – if you have a dark colour
on the tail carry it forward to the front even if
it is just a hint. The usual Jabiru logos are placed
on the wing tips and front engine cowling –
these decals are optional – they consist of
the Jabiru logo and wording and the model for example

| Please also remember–
that you can make your own design our stripes are
examples of some of the designs that have been done. |
